Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA)

Job Status: Contract, Part-Time, Full-Time

Reports To: Director of Operation

Date: Effective Immediately

Supervises: BTs/RBTs

 

Blue Light ABA Consultants works with a team of Behavioral Technicians and Program Coordinators to provide a range of applied behavior analysis (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. Our company is seeking that special individual, Board Certified Behavioral Analyst to join us in establishing behavioral services.

Responsibilities:

  • Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, Vineland) and functional assessment measures
  • Develops individualized goals and objectives for home, community, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data
  • Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives
  • Teaches Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) on the proper implementation of educational and clinical behavior programs and plans, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems
  • Conducts regular caregiver and/or teacher training and consultation
  • Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavioral Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT)
  • Meets regularly with Director of Outpatient Behavioral Services and notifies her/him immediately of issues impacting client’s progress and satisfaction
  • Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner
  • Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to BACB Guidelines and state and federal regulation
  • Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform other duties as requested
  • Drive and compassion to work with children on the autism spectrum and other development disabilities
  • Must be willing to travel and reliable transportation
  • Must be able to work well as part of a team
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, be highly organized with the ability to multi-task

Education and Experience Required:

  • Master’s in Behavior Analysis
  • BCBA certification
  • At least one year’s experience serving individuals with ASD with a full range of skills and abilities
  • At least one year’s experience working as an outreach consultant/in-home therapist in the autism or developmental disability field
  • Outstanding candidates will be considered that do not meet our requirement.
  • Strong knowledge and deep understanding of behavior analytic therapies; experience delivering these services
  • Experience with staff training and supervision
  • Must be proficient with DTT, ABA Program/Goal Development, ABA Behavior
  • Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures, and Staff Training

Behavior Technician (BT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Job Status: Contract, Part-Time, Full-Time

Blue Light ABA Consultants works with a team of BCBAs to provide a range of applied behavior analysis (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. Our company is seeking that special individual, Registered Behavior Technicians to join us in establishing behavioral services.
